SMS Terms of Service - NCB Shifts
Newport Car Barn operates the NCB Shifts text message program for its employees and contract event staff.
Program description
By opting in, you agree to receive recurring automated text messages from Newport Car Barn about your work schedule, including shift offers, shift assignments, schedule changes, shift swap decisions, certification reminders, and time-sensitive operational updates. You must be 18 years of age or older to participate.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies, up to approximately 30 messages per week, depending on how many events are scheduled.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply for messages sent to you from us and to us from you.
How to opt out
You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Simply text STOP to the number from which you receive messages. After you send STOP, we will send a message confirming you have been unsubscribed, after which you will receive no further SMS messages from us. To rejoin, text START or turn shift alerts back on in the NCB Shifts app.
Opting out of text messages does not affect your employment, your pay, or your eligibility to be scheduled. Your schedule and all shift information remain available in the NCB Shifts app.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
