What we collect when you contact us

The inquiry form on our contact page collects your name, email address, phone number, estimated guest count, event date, event type, and any notes you choose to include. Along with what you type, we also record how you arrived at our site — the website that referred you and any campaign tags in the link you followed — so we know which of our marketing efforts are working. This information is sent to Newport Car Barn's internal event management system and used only to respond to your inquiry and help plan your event. We do not sell, rent, or share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects information such as the pages you view, your approximate location derived from your IP address, your device and browser type, the website that referred you, and on-site actions like submitting the inquiry form or clicking a phone number or email link.

We do not send Google Analytics your name, email address, phone number, or the content of your inquiry notes. For signed-in Google users who have Ads Personalization turned on, Google's Signals feature may add aggregated age, gender, and interest categories to the data Google already collects.

You can read Google's privacy policy and use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on if you prefer not to be tracked.

Advertising

We use the Meta Pixel to measure website activity and to show relevant ads on Facebook and Instagram to people who have visited the site. You can review Meta's privacy policy for more details.

Other third parties

• Google Fonts serves the typefaces used on this site. When a page loads, your browser may contact Google Fonts, which means your IP address is processed by Google.
• The parking page embeds a Google Map. Loading the map sends your IP address and related information to Google as described in Google's privacy policy.
• The site is hosted by Lovable.

Cookies

The cookies on this site come from Google Analytics, the Meta Pixel, Google Fonts, and the embedded Google Map. They help us measure traffic, improve the site, and make advertising more useful. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. The site works fine without them.

SMS and text messaging

Newport Car Barn operates a text message program for its event staff. If you provide your mobile number and opt in, we collect your mobile phone number, the date and time you consented, and a record of the messages we send you.

We use this information solely to send you the messages you opted in to receive — shift offers, schedule changes, and urgent operational updates about your work with Newport Car Barn.

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will never be shared or sold to any third party or lead generator. All other categories of data sharing described in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent.

We share your mobile number only with the messaging providers that deliver the messages on our behalf, and only for that purpose. Message frequency varies, up to approximately 30 messages per week. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. For help, reply HELP or contact us at the information below.

NCB Shifts staff app

NCB Shifts is the staff app Newport Car Barn's event staff use for shifts. Only people invited by Newport Car Barn have accounts. Guests and the public don't use it.

From staff, the app collects: name, phone number, email address, and date of birth; tax and onboarding documents such as a W-9 and a contractor agreement; certifications; shifts claimed and punch-in and punch-out times; the phone's location at the moment of punching in or out (only when the person allows location access, and only at that moment, never in the background); photos and notes they upload for checklists and incident reports; messages sent in the app; and, if they turn on notifications, a device token used only to deliver them.

This information is used for scheduling, confirming hours and paying staff, venue safety, and sending the shift alerts the person asked for.

It is not sold. It is shared only with the service providers that run the app — hosting and database, email delivery, and Apple/Google push notification services — for that purpose only.

Location and notifications can be turned off at any time in the phone's settings. The app keeps working, and location never blocks a punch.

Staff information is kept while the person works with Newport Car Barn and for as long as tax and employment records must be kept after that.

Your choices

You can manage cookies and tracking through your browser settings. Many browsers support Do Not Track signals and the Global Privacy Control. You can also opt out of Google Analytics with the official opt-out add-on, manage your Meta ad preferences in your Facebook account settings, and ask us to delete an inquiry by emailing info@newportcarbarn.com.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
